Group Lessons

Students have the option of two "tracks" to choose from :   Social Track, which is a very relaxed, general class for social dancing and Technical Track, which is much more detail oriented.  ( Monday 6pm Standard and Thursday 6pm Latin Technique class will fall under the Technical Track classes)

A group class is typically a 60-minute session led by one  instructor, each class starts off with a review of the previous lesson plus new material.  All classes are progressive in nature and it is important to attend classes on a weekly basis.  ( on average students miss 2 classes in a 12 week session).  Practice parties are offered on the last Friday of the month to prepare students to be comfortable dancing outside of the studio.  It is important for beginner students to take advantage of this opportunity.

All Level 1 classes are designed for students with no previous dance background to learn basic patterns, rhythm and smooth partnering.   Completion of any Level 1 class should enable all students to be comfortable dancing in any social setting in that particular style of dance and have fun with it.

Level 2 classes start off with a basic review of the fundamental concepts and will move quickly to new patterns.   Focus of the class will be more on timing, Lead/follow and Technique.

Students who wish to move up to INTERMEDIATE levels of a particular dance style are encouraged to take several BEGINNING classes before enrolling for INTERMEDIATE Level where they
build on the skills learned in earlier classes as they develop more skill, variation and style.   (Suggested 6 months of dancing.)

ADVANCED level are for those who are fully comfortable with their lead/follow skills in a particular dance style and simply wish to learn more variations and improve their skills.

Private Lessons

There is no substitute for working one-on-one with an instructor to accelerate your learning experience. Private lessons are the fastest way to learn! This 'one-on-one' experience is customized to meet your needs and skill level.

    • "Dazzle your way on the dance floor."

    • Work one on one with an instructor at your own pace.

    • Develop your style and technique.

    • Build your confidence.

Private lessons will enable you to achieve your dancing goals, whether you desire to be comfortable on the dance floor, become a more fun and challenging dance partner, feel confident performing in front of others, or wish to compete.

    Scheduling:

We can schedule classes at your convenience providing studio time is available.  Maximum 2 individuals.
We encourage you to first try one lesson before deciding on the package you wish to purchase.

Competitive Classes

After you’ve taken enough Adult Ballroom Dance Classes to feel comfortable, you’ll be ready to begin our competitive dance lessons. It’s at this level where things really get interesting.  Students interested in taking these types of Ballroom/Latin Dance Lessons focus on refining their techniques to prepare themselves for competitions.
